The final call for the ATRIUM Transnational Access (TNA) scheme is open! This is the last chance to apply for fully funded placements across Europe at ATRIUM host organisations. This initiative is designed to support Arts and Humanities researchers by providing access to expert knowledge, mentorship, and tools from leading data management organisations. The training is free and travel, accommodation and subsistence will be fully funded by the Transnational Access (TNA) scheme. The deadline for Applications is the 30th November 2026.
About the Call
Both Summer Schools and Individual Access placements are available – the following are relevant to archaeology:
- APAC – The Cyprus Institute, Andreas Pittas Art Characterization Laboratories, Nicosia, Cyprus – 3D documentation
- Belgrade Center for Digital Humanities , Belgrade, Serbia – TEI and XML workflows
- Digital Research Infrastructure for the Humanities (eHum PSNC) , Poznan, Poland – support in digital humanities, including architectural, technological or deployment challenges
- Hypermedia Research Group (HRG), University of South Wales , Pontypridd, South Wales, UK – Cultural heritage and the semantic interoperability of archaeological datasets.
- Virtual Environments Lab (VELAB), The Cyprus Institute (CYI) , Nicosia, Cyprus – HBIM data and operation workflows
- UNESCO Chair on Digital Methods for the Humanities and Social Sciences at the Athens University of Economics and Business , Athens, Greece – digital methods in the humanities, in particular: AI, natural language processing, machine learning, knowledge representation, information extraction and integration, digital curation, graphics and 3D visualisation.
